Momwheresmylunch.com is a blog written by Louise McGuckin who is based in Cork, Ireland. Louise is an English teacher by trade but was lucky enough to be able to be a stay at home mom and raise her three kids and feed her Kiwi husband!

The blog was created in 2014 with the help of her good friend Caroline’s husband, Eugene. Her graphics were created by design wizard Mary Linehan.

The idea for the name of the blog came about as Louise feels passionately about good quality food for her family and especially about the daily contents of their lunchboxes. Given that her kids are fussy eaters this can prove quite a challenge so she had to experiment with different options since her eldest began school in 2010. Her focus is on fresh and seasonal foods to create nourishing dishes and sweet treats. Hopefully, you will find the ideas and inspiration you need here.

Louise has shared many of her recipes which she is grateful to have received from friends and family. She is lucky to be able to share her Mum’s and mother in law, Lizette’s recipes, who are excellent home cooks.  It does take a village to raise a child and is very helpful if you have all their recipes too!
